Morphine recovered at Guwahati Railway Station

Railway Police on Wednesday morning, while conducting a routine check, recovered morphine weighing approximately 900 grams from the possession of one passenger at Guwahati Railway Station.

The passenger has been identified as one Ibadul Haque (48), who hails from Kotwali in Uttar Pradesh.

He was travelling in Train No -12423 DN Rajdhani Express.

During preliminary interrogation, it has been found that the recovered morphine was brought from Dimapur and was expected to be delivered at Kanpur Central.
