Nagaland Registers 16 New Cases of COVID-19

Nagaland registered 16 new cases of COVID-19 on Friday morning, taking the state's tally to 371. This was informed by state health minister S Pangnyu Phom through his twitter handle.

The health minister said that the 16 cases have been detected out of the 539 samples tested on Thursday.

Phom in his tweet said, "16 new cases of COVID-19 +ve have been reported out of 539 samples tested. 15 patients from Kohima QC & 1 from Peren QC."

Positive      : 371

Active         : 211

Recovered: 160

Death         : 00

Among the 16 new patients, 15 are from Kohima quarantine centre while one is from Peren quarantine centre.

With the new cases, the active cases in the state now stand at 211.

A total of 160 persons have already recovered from the disease.
