In a latest update, a pipe explosion in ONGC (Oil and Natural Gas Corporation) has occurred today at Geleki in Nazira of Sivsagar district.
The eruption took place at ONGC Rig No. 2 in Seoj Chapori. However, ONGC has curtailed the gas emissions.
Nearby village dwellers have been evacuated.
