In a joint operation carried out by Kachugaon Military andpolice, six NDFB (S) cadres have arrested at Okshiguri village in Gosaigaon onMonday night.

As per reports, police and military force carried out the secretoperation on the basis of a tip-off source, where they could detain themilitants in concealment at the border area of Ripu Forest reserve.

Moreover, five of the cadres have been identified as Bhagya Basumatary, Ranjolal Wary, Rubiram Goyary, Julesh Musharay, and Sailen Borhgoyary.

Reportedly, one rifle, six pistols, 12 magazines and 70rounds of live bullets have recovered from the militants.

Among the six NDFB (S) cadres, three of them belong to Chirang district and the rest of three belongs to Kokrajhar. It may be stated that all of the cadres are kept in Kachugaon Military Camp and interrogation has been going on for more details in this regard.
