The transport department has come up with a new rule for the city bus route of Panjabari-Jalukbari to reduce the traffic chaos in Ganeshguri.

The city bus coming from Jalukbari to Panjabari and vice-versa will ply via Sixmile, VIP road, Narengi, and Noonmati. According to the transport department, the bus plying from Jalukbari towards Panjabari will be able to ply through the old route.

The instructionhas come in order to prevent the traffic chaos in Ganeshguri as 100 buses plyin the route daily.

The new rulewill be implemented from September 19, 2019.
