Pratidin Bureau

The NF Railway today announced the reversal of the proposed new train that will run over the Bogibeel bridge linking North and South bank following popular demand.

The NF Railway initially planned to run a train between Tinsukia and Naharlegun originating in the morning from Tinsukia and reaching Naharlegun at noon and then returning back in the evening to Tinsukia.

NF Railway Spokesperson Jayanta Sharma informed that the new Intercity will now leave Nahalegun at 5:30 and reach Dibrugarh at 9:37 while Tinuskia at 11.00.

The train will leave Tinsukia at 4 p.m and reach Naharlegun at 9:30 p.m.

However on Thursday it will leave at 6:45 p.m and reach Naharlegun at 00:15 p.m. This was necessitated for periodic maintenance.

This train will immensely benefit as hundreds of North bank commuters come to Dibrugarh every morning for treatment in the Assam Medical College Hospital and the Dibrugarh University.
