NF Railway To Continue Special Train Service

After the announcement of the suspension of train service till August 12 by the Central Railway due to the rapid increase of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Northeast Frontier Railway has decided to continue the service of some special train.

The trains which will continue its service are:

Daily Rajdhani Express between Dibrugarh-New Delhi

Special Weekly Rajdhani Express between Agartala-Anand Bihar

Brahmaputra Mail between Dibrugarh-New Delhi

Janasatabdi Express between Guwahati-Jorhat except Sunday

Apart from these trains, the trains from West Bengal will also continue its service. These are:

Sikkim-Mahananda Express between Alipurduar- Delhi

Padatik Express between Alipurduar-Sealdah

Weekly Karmabhuni Express between New Jalpaiguri- Amritsar

However, the other trains will remain suspended till August 12 and the bookings from July 1 till August 12 have been cancelled by the Central Railway.

The railway authorities also said that the passengers will be refunded.

Moreover, the goods train will continue during this period.
