No CAB, will destroy it: Zubeen Garg

Assamsinger Zubeen Garg on Sunday morning stated that he will not support theCitizenship Amendment Bill (CAB) and will destroy the bill, if passed in theParliament. Taking to social networking site Facebook, Zubeen shared a photo ofhis musical performance from the North East Festival in Delhi and captioned it,"Nooooo CAB .we wl destroy it".

His Facebook post came after the Dibrugarh district administration cancelled a concert by him the town due to "security reasons". The Dibrugarh administration sources said that the concert has been cancelled in view of protests against CAB.

It maybe mentioned here that the singer has been vocal against the bill and has takenpart in various protests against the bill. He has also criticised the BJPgovernment in the State led by CM Sarbananda Sonowal. The popular singer, who hadsung a campaign song for Assam BJP in the 2016 assembly election, has also announcednot to sing for any political parties in near future.
