In an operation launched by the army, an NSCN Cadre has been apprehended on Sunday night at Sonari. The cadre has been identified as Sergeant Major Samuel Sibi.

Thearmy also recovered a .22 pistol made in Italy from the NSCN cadre along with amagazine, 9 rounds of bullets and some offensive documents.
