One arrested in connection with Kamakhya-Dekargaon train blast

Assam police has arrested a person named Binod Boro in connection with the blast at Kamakhya-Dekargaon train at Harisinga station that injured at least three passengers. The person has been identified as Binod Boro who is a BFDN cadre.

As per reports , Boro made three experimental bomb of which he blasted the first one at a jungle to check its intensity. The second bomb was exploded at Kamakhya-Dekargaon train and the third was hid at a person's backyard in Goeswar  that was later diffused by the police.

There have also been allegations against Binod Boro of extorting money in the name of
National Democratic Front of Boroland (NDFB) altering its name to BFDN.

Earlier on Dec 1, a low intensity blast injured at least three people in the general second class coach of Kamakhya-Dekargaon Intercity Express near Harisinga, about 50 km from Rangiya. The blast took place between Harisinga-Tangla stations of Rangiya division of the Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR).
