The Government Railway Police (GRP) have recoveredhuge amount of ganja from Guwahati Railway Station on Sunday morning. 5kilogram of ganja has been recovered from Platform No. 1 of the railwaystation.

The GRP also arrested one Bhaskar Baruah and seizedthe ganja from him while he was taking away in Rajdhani Express. Bhaskar hailsfrom Mariani in Jorhat.

The GRP have lodged a case against him and initiated an investigation regarding the recovery. "We have arrested an individual and seized ganja worth Rs. 40,000 from him. Legal formalities in this regard are being initiated," said a GRP official.
