A sub-inspector of Panbazaar police station has been tested positive for COVID-19. The police officer identified as Abhijeet Doley has been infected with the virus after he was serving at various places in Guwahati's containment zone.

He was in quarantine for the last 5 days at Hotel Viswaratna andreported to be positive on Friday.
