PM Modi Appreciates Assam Girl’s Video of Puppetry

A proficient puppet artiste of Assam, Parishmita Kalita hasprepared a video of a puppet show replicating Prime Minister Narendra Modi onthe occasion of Rongali Bihu.

The video replicates Modi's address to the nation on Monday announcingthe extension of lockdown till May 3 to curb the spread of COVID-19.

The artiste said that the view is a token of appreciation toPrime Minister Modi for his bold initiatives in tackling the COVID-19 pandemicthat has gripped the nation along with the entire globe.

Parishmita, the artiste said that the video has been prepared byher mother, sister and herself.

After the video of the puppet show has been sent to the PrimeMinister, she received appreciation from him saying that it is "Very Creative."

He took to twitter to appreciate the video and wrote, "Very Creative."

Parishmita had earlier sent the video to Modi through Twittersaying;

'Sir @narendramodi, this is a small gesture of appreciation to you on the occasion of Bohag Bihu. This puppet play is done by my mother who is a puppet artist, me and my younger sister.'

Thevideo is of a puppet replicating Prime Minister Modi dressed the way he haddressed when he addressed the nation announcing COVID-19 lockdown 2.0.

The background voice is being used for the speech made by Prime Minister Modi on that day.
