President of India Ram Nath Kovind, accompanied by his wife Savita Kovind arrived Sikkim on a two-day visit on Saturday.
The President will grace the 5th convocation ofSikkim University in Gangtok on Sunday and on Monday, he will grace the 26thconvocation of the North-Eastern Hill University (NEHU) in Shillong.
Kovind was received upon arrival at the Army Helipad in Libingby the Governor of Sikkim Ganga Prasad, Chief Minister PS Golay, SikkimLegislative Assembly Speaker LB Das and others.
Kovind, after receiving the guard of honourupon his arrival, left for Raj Bhawan.
