Protest against CAB intensifies after Shah’s remark

AfterUnion Home Minister Amit Shah stressed on implementing the Citizenship(Amendment) Bill during his speech at the 4th conclave of NEDA on Monday,various organisations on Tuesday staged protest against the decision. The organisationsfelt that the bill goes against the Assam Accord of 1985 and the NRC.

It may be mentioned here that Shah has said that the tribal states won't face any problem if the CAB is implemented and that it won't affect Article 371. He said that the CAB will be implemented for the people who have come till December 31, 2014. It has been proved from the words of Amit Shah that the BJP government is consistent to bring CAB in the region.
