Two people have been killed in a deadly road accidentthat took place in Raha area under Nagaon district on Sunday morning.

According to reports, one of the deceased has beenidentified as Sarkar Ali, but the identity of the other deceased is yet to beascertained.

The eyewitness said that the accident took place when atruck (AS-01-KC-8981) heading towards Guwahati rammed into another (AS-01-DD-8441)over the National Highway 37.

Police reached the spot immediately after the incidentwas reported.
