Raid at Rakibul Hussain’s Sister’s houses

Police carried out a raid at former Congress minister from Assam Rakibul Hussain's sister's residences on Thursday.

Police today carried out a search operation at the minister's sister, Shabana Sultana's house following a FIR against her.

She has been accused of confining a girl from Rangia for more than 14 years now forcefully at her home.

The girl was brought to work as a domestic help at Shabana's place.

Searching for the girl, police carried out the search operation at her Paltan Bazar and Chandmari based residences.

The family of the girl, in the FIR, has accused Shabana of forcefully keeping her to work for them as a maid. It has been also alleged that the girl was brought under wrong identity.
