Ramen Dutta declared ACA’s next president

Businessman Ramen Dutta has been elected as the president of Assam Cricket Association (ACA). The Annual General Meeting of Assam Cricket Association held at the ACA stadium in Barsapara on Saturday.

Dutta got 21 votes against Pradip Buragohain. Buragohain, the current president of ACA received 9 votes. Tridib Konwar managed to get the treasurer's post after receiving 19 votes.

Parikshit Dutta secured the vice president's post with a total of 24 votes against Preetam Konwar. Former Ranji player and the present vice president of the ACA, Devajit Saikia has been already confirmed as the new secretary of the State cricket body.
