In an operation launched by the forest department with the help of Behali police against rhino poacher have arrested one poacher from Borachuk in Behali. The poacher has been identified as Momin Das.

The poacher has been arrested in charge of rhino killing in the Kohora forest on March 31 last. According to an internal source of the forest department, Das was also arrested earlier in charge of rhino poaching in the Agoratoli forest under Kaziranga National Park.

Forest official of Kaziranga said that the poacher had been arrested several times but after he gets bail from court, he again gets involved in rhino poaching. The official said that the poacher also admitted his involvement in rhino poaching.
