Riyan Parag makes his IPL debut Today

Young-promising Rajasthan Royals' batsman-cum- Assam son Riyan Parag made his IPL debut against Chennai Super Kings at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium on Thursday.

Riyan made his Twenty20 debut for Assam in the 2016-17 Inter State Twenty-20 tournament in 2017.

In October 2017, he was named in India's squad for the 2017 ACC Under-19 Asia Cup. He made his first-class debut for Assam in the 2017-18 Ranji Trophy against Hyderabad and has one fifty to his credit.

Parag was India's second highest run-getter behind Prithvi Shaw in the youth Tests and played a crucial role during the India's win in Chesterfield.
