A horrific road accident has taken place at the College gate ofSonapur in Kamrup on Monday night.

Reportedly, the accident has taken place when a bus (MN-01-2076) was coming towards Guwahati fromManipur and suddenly the driver had lost his control over the bus and fall downon the road.

It may be stated that there were more than 30 passengers on the bus and among them, more than 15 passengers had got critically injured due to the accident.

The injured passengers were shifted to Sonapur Hospital for further treatment and it has come to know that among the injured passengers, 2 of them are in serious condition.

It has been alleged that the driver was drunk and the passengers told him to slow down the speed of the bus, but he was driving so fast.
