A deadly road accident has taken placeat NH 52 near Lakhimipam, at the Sapekhati region in Sonari on Sunday evening,where one had died and another one got critically injured.

As per reports, the deceased was the rider of the bike, who has been identified as Ajai Orang, a resident of No 2 Medelajan village.

Reportedly, the accident took placewhen a bike (AS 04T 6357) had hit a TATA Indica car (AS 04F 7320) from itsfront.

It may be stated that the injured persons were immediately sent to the hospital  for further treatment.
