A heavy shower of rain in Guwahati on Tuesday morning and here we have the city's regular visitor, artificial flash floods.

Jorabat once again is submerged in two feet water already.

The last time there were devastating artificial floods in the area, the administration was seen clearing all the outlets and the clutter even if it meant a massive eviction drive in the Jorabat area.

But the question here is, has it worked? Clearly, no! The status of flood after every heavy shower, considering the eviction drive, has remained unchanged.
