Sahitya Sabha, USTM UG & PG scholarships

The Assam Sahitya Sabha and University of Science and Technology, Meghalaya (USTM) have announced a scholarship program intended to help poor students, who are not in a position to continue their education because of financial hardships.

Addessing a joint press conference in Assam Sahitya Sabha Guwahati office, the literary organisation and USTM told media that they are planning to offer twenty scholarships in name of former Sahitya Sabha presidents (15 for PG students, 5 for UG students).

In addition to these, two special research scholarships to be issued in memory of Dr. Maheswar Neog and Sahityacharjya Syed Abdul Malik.

Students can apply the scholarship scheme through www.ustm.ac.in

Last date of form submission – June 15, the names selected candidates will be declared on June 20.

The press conference was attended by Dr. Paramananda Rajbongshi, President, Assam Sahitya Sabha and Mahbubul Hoque, Chancellor, USTM along with other dignitaries.
