Saraswati Puja to celebrate for 2 days from today

Saraswati Puja to celebrate with great pomp and gaiety across the country onWednesday and Thursday.  It is said that asper Panchang (Hindu calendar), Saraswati Puja to be celebrated for two daysthis year. The puja timing starts from around 11 am on January 29 and willcontinue till 10 am on January 30.

That being said, the highest amount of excitement and liveliness was seenamong the students who paid obeisance to the female deity and sought herblessings for their studies. The schools and other educational institutions cameto life on the occasion of Saraswati Puja.

Being centers of education and knowledge, they observed the festival with much alacrity and welcomed the respective students to their premises. Puja pandals were decorated with bright and vibrant hues of yellow to pay obeisance to the Goddess on Wednesday morning.

The festival, once again, proved to be a great unifier of different religions. Students from other faiths were also seen taking part in the festivities and merriment surrounding the Saraswati Puja. All academic institutions are seen making arrangements for the much-awaited festival.
