In ashocking incident, a group of seven youths attacked two others in Guwahati'sSix Mile.

According to reports, the incident had taken place pertaining to the two vehicles, carrying the seven youths, not giving way to another vehicle on the road. The two youths were attacked after they were blowing horn looking for a way to go ahead.

It hascome to light that the duo travelling in a Innova had been attacked with sharpweapons.

It was due to the witnesses at the spot who informed the Dispur Police, that they reached on time.

The policedetained five of the seven attackers, while two are absconding. They have alsobeen able to seize the vehicles used by the seven youths.

Thevictims have been identified as Krishna Sharma and Mahibul Islam.
