Shiladitya Dev reconsiders decision to quit BJP

Hojai MLA Shiladitya Dev has changed his mind to not step down from the Bharatiya Janta Party.

The MLA was supposed to formally submit his resignation on Tuesday but has suspended the idea to resign for a while.

Dev was asked from the national party leaders to be patient and reconsider the decision again in a week's time. The party workers advised to avoid taking any decisions hastily.

The BJP MLA said he is willing to wait up to six months.
