A gun-battle took place between Assam Rifles and banned terrorist outfit NSCN (Khaplang), this afternoon. The incident took place at Thanyak between Ukha and Tobu under Mon District (Nagaland).

As per reports, 2 Assam Rifles Jawans killed, 4 injured in the shootout.

The bodies are now being taken to Bumei, under Mon district (Nagaland).
