Shweta Agarwal murder | Final hearing on Tuesday

A session court on Tuesday will execute its final hearing in the sensational Shweta Agarwal murder case.

Shweta, a state topper from the commerce stream in the 2015 HS exam, was allegedly murdered by Govind Singhal, the prime accused of the case at his residence located in the Bharalumukh area on December 4, 2017. Her body was found inside the bathroom.

Bharalaumukh Police, in their chargesheet, have accused Govind of murdering Shweta and also charged his mother and sister with criminal conspiracy and trying to mislead the investigation.

Forensic reports revealed that blood samples collected from the knife, bathroom, the gunny bag used to carry Shweta's body and from the two wheeler's seat matched with the deceased's blood.

Earlier, the investigation had revealed that Govind allegedly set the body afire inside the bathroom with the help of his mother and sister after his plan to dump the corpse in a gunny bag failed.
