Lockdown have been announced for one week in Simalugiri, Lakhimpur on Saturday.

District administration have decided on the lockdown as many people in the region have been affected by coronavirus.

Lakhimpur currently has 131 active covid cases with 1135 recovered. No deaths have been reported so far.
