BJPMP Smriti Irani visited Nilachal Hills in Guwahati on Tuesday and offered herprayers at the Kamakhya Temple and Maa Bagala Temple. As per reports, thesecurity has been beefed up in and around Nilachal Hills following the arrivalof the MP.

She reportedly offered prayers for several minutes.

Apparently, Smriti made this visit especially after her victory from Amethi constituency in the recently concluded Lok Sabha elections, where she defeated Congress president Rahul Gandhi with more than 50 thousand votes.
