Sonari: Tasa & Gogoi Participates in ‘Gandhi Sankalp Yatra’

MP Kamakhya Prasad Tasa and Tapan Gogoi participated in the Gandhi Sankalp Yatra in Sonari on Tuesday. Both the MPs participated in the 15-kilometer road yatra from Safrai Station Chariali to Sonari.

The Gandhi Sankalp Yatra has been started throughout the country underthe leadership of Narendra Modi. The Prime Minister has decided to come up withthe yatra in order to observe the 150th birth anniversary of MahatmaGandhi and to show solidarity to the Prime Minister all the MPs willparticipate in 150 km yatra in their respective constituencies.  

The yatra was launched on October 2 elsewhere inthe country, on the occasion of Gandhiji's 150th birth anniversary.
