Sonitpur: Cache of Arms, Ammunition Recovered

A cache of arms and ammunition was recovered by the Assam Police on Saturday night in Sonitpur district.

In a search operation conducted in the jungle area under Kachugaon police station head by Sub Inspector Latuk Das and Anand Rabha led to the recovery of the following arms and ammunition:

1) AK 47 rifle with magazine (country made) – 1 (one)

2) UG rifle with magazine (country made) -1 (one)

 3) 7.62 pistol (with magazine) factory made – 1 (one) 

4) Granade –    4 (four) 

5) Detonator – 4(four) and,

6) 13 ( thirteen) round AK live ammunition
