Sonowal pays tributes to 2008 serial blast victims

October 30, a day marked as ablack day in the history of Assam as serial blasts took place on this day in2008 leaving hundreds of people dead. As Assam remembered the victims of theserial bomb blasts, Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal paid his tributes to theportrait of the innocent souls who were killed in the blasts at two differentprogrammes held at CJM court premises and Ganeshguri in Guwahati.

In memory of the innocent souls killed in the blasts, Lawyers' Association, Guwahati and Kamrup (M) district administration organised a shradhanjali programme, where CM paid rich floral tributes in the memory of the departed souls.

Thereafter, the CM visitedGaneshguri and paid floral tributes to the portraits of those killed in theblast. He also participated in an all faith prayer meeting organised on theoccasion.
