Speaker urges public, representatives to be patient

Hitendra Nath Goswami, a name known to maintain decorum in the Assam Legislative Assembly, has expressed concern over the delicate situation the state is going through.

Goswami, the speaker of the Assembly, has appealed people of the state to refrain themselves from making any such statements that could instigate communal clashes and deteriorate the situation.

The speaker has urged people to keep calm and patience in this hour of need.

"Public representatives are requested to maintain dignity of the Assembly", urged Goswami adding, "One should be extremely careful before making any comments."
