Tripura Minister Sudip Roy Barman has been removedfrom CM Biplab Kumar Deb's cabinet on Friday. Sudip Roy served as a Minister ofHealth & Family Welfare, IT, Science and Technology and PWD (DWS).

It was speculated that CM Biplab Deb was not happy with the performance of some of his colleagues and he is going to undertake a major reshuffle and expansion of his ministry.

Meanwhile, CM Deb will take charges of PWD (DWS), Industry & Commerce (IT) and Health and Family Welfare Ministries; and Deputy CM Jishnu Dev Varma will take the charge of Science, Technology and Environment Ministry.
