Sushmita Dev represents India at UN

Silchar MP Sushmita Dev to attend 73rd session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York from October 8 to 14.

The global congregation is an all-party delegation. She is a part of the first batch of delegates to represent the Indian Government in UN General Assembly. There would be an opportunity for the delegates' team of India to speak on the social, humanitarian and cultural issues.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on recommendation of the Ministry of External Affairs has approved the participation of Sushmita Dev as a member of the six-member delegation which would represent the Government of India at the global congregation.
