Tea estate watchguard murdered in Makum

A watchguard was murdered at the Betjan tea estate in Makum in Tinsukia district on Tuesday.

The watchguard named Raju Baig alias Zakir was brutally stabbed by a sharp weapon at the number six line of the tea garden.

In this connection, two other watchguards Jokol Moran and Abhinandan Bora of Betjan tea estate are missing. The local police are conducting an investigation in this matter.
