Tezpur MP Ram Prasad Sharma to undergo Kidney removal operation

BJP's MP from Tezpur in Assam, Ram Prasad Sharma, last night left for Kolkata to undergo an operation for removal of his kidneys as he has long been suffering from a kidney failure.

His departure coincides with the arrest of his APS daughter Pallabi Sharma in the APSC scam.

Sharma informed along with his nephew, daughter Pallabi Sharma was supposed to be donor of kidneys. As she will be in jail, he will now have one kidney removal.

He informed that it would take around 45 days for him to recover.

"After that I shall see the Assam Police in the court as this investigation is fraught with discrepancies and malicious" he thundered vouching for daughter's innocence.
