The Bokakhat police and Forest officials on Wednesday carried a joint operation to detain three poachers from Bokakhat area.

Acting on a tip-off, the joint operation was carried out to nab the poachers, who were identified as Hanif Ali, Binod Saro and Rahim Kutum. The operating team also seized a 303 rifle, 15 rounds of live ammunition, Gun Binocular, silencer, one axe and other weapons used for poaching purposes from their possession.

Meanwhile, all of them were taken to the Bokakhat Police Station to continue the interrogation process, informed police.
