Tiger tranquilised, shifted to Assam Zoo

A Royal Bengal tiger (female) was tranquilised and sent to Assam State Zoo from Borsola area under Dhekiajuli revenue circle on Tuesday.

A team comprising DFO Orang National Park, WTI tranquilising expert Dr Rinku Buragohain and other forest officials from Dhekiajuli and Orang were involved in a 3 hour long operation after which the tiger was tranquilised and captured.
