Tihu: 2 Covid Positive Prisoners Flee From Hospital

2 prisoners who were admitted to Tihu's Makhibaha Mahatma Gandhi Adarsh Hospital have reportedly fled from the hospital on Saturday night.

According to sources, the two prisoners are from Nalbari Jail who was admitted to the Mahatma Gandhi Adash Hospital along with 12 other prisoners.

It has been reported by police sources that the 14 admitted prisoners were Covid-19 positive patients.

The absconding prisoners have been identified as Sahil Ahmed and Rajiv Sharma.

With this incident taking place in Tihu, the locals are now in serious health threat as the whole area of Makhibaha might get infected of Covid-19 unknowingly.

Meanwhile, the police are on their search operation for the two fled prisoners.
