In a sensational incident, a team of 10 miscreants attacked in the Punjab National Bank (PNB), Panitola Branch in Tinsukia. The miscreants attacked the bank manager Bhuban Das, branch manager Arun Kumar Singh, and the security guard.

The bank authorities lodged an FIR at Panitola police station following the incident.

The locals also created chaos after the incident and demanded safety and security of the bank employees as well as the locals.

However, police started the investigation but have not yet come out with any reason as to why the miscreants have attacked the bank employees.
