The traffic incharge of Jalukbari Police Station, Ranjit Das died today.

He had a brain stroke on the night of Monday, following which he was admitted to GNRC Hospital, Dispur.

Before being the traffic incharge of the said station, Das was the Officer incharge of many police stations in Guwahati.

Das's role in crime control in Guwahati was notable.
