Bogibeel reeled under massive traffic jams on Tuesday night with people stepping out in large numbers to Kareng Sapori on the occasion of Bogibeel bridge Inauguration ceremony.

The travellers faced major traffic jams, while returning from Bogibeel bridge inauguration ceremony at Kareng Sapori.

All the routes leading to the event venue had stranding vehicles piled up in line waiting for the green signal to move their vehicles some inches ahead.

The jam extended from the event venue Kareng Sapori till the Bogibeel bridge.

Assam Police and forces deployed in large numbers for smooth traffic control but commuters still faced a hard time navigating through the venue.
