A tragic road accident takes place at 37 no National Highway at Bokakhat as a truck runs over pedestrian after it lost control.

Thepedestrian who died on the spot has been identified as Lakhiram Ghatowal.

Thetruck bearing registration number AS 05-C-1768 was on its way to Jorhat fromGuwahati and hit the man after losing its control.

Thetruck also turns over the road after the accident.

Meanwhile,the Bokakhat traffic police have recovered the body of the deceased and sent thebody to Golaghat for post-mortem and seized the truck.
