Two arrested in Gohpur shooting case

On Sunday, Gohpur Police had managed to arrest suspected two miscreants in connection with a shooting case of business man on October 12.

The suspected accused identified as Prasanta Doley and Bhola Sarma.

Police arrested the accused based on statements of the victim, witnesses and the prima facia evidences.

A businessman named Jogindar Shah was shot at and injured while he was returning home after closing his shop in Gohpur Purup Bari at around 9:30 pm on October 12.

Police took two accused in custody for five days.

Their interrogation is on and more information is waited – Police source said.
