Two Escape From Biswanath Police Custody

In amassive blow to Assam police, two accused have escaped from the custody of BiswanathPolice on Thursday. Identified as Shahjahan Ali and Mustafa, both the accusedhave escaped from the court premises.

Though police managed to re-arrest Shahjahan from Nilpura area, another accused Mustafa is still absconding. Interestingly, Mustafa has managed to escape from the police custody with handcuffs in his hand.

Both of them were brought to be produced before the court in Biswanath Chariali. "Necessary department action against the police personnel who had the accused in their custody will be taken," informed a Biswanath police officer.
