Two held for PMKY fraud

In a chaotic situation, locals caught hold of two fraudstersin Hojai's Matikhola Natun Basti.

According to reports, the fraudsters deceived people in thename of releasing funds in the name of Prime Minister Kisan Yojana andcollecting an advance amount from more than 100 persons.

The duo have been identified as Deepak Kumar Singh and BulbulRajgaur. The two had reportedly collected an amount of 150 rupees from thepeople.

The locals, after coming to know of the true nature of thefraudsters, held them captive stirring a chaotic situation.

Police had to interrupt to bring the situation under controland later detained the two.
