Two Turkish hackers arrested in Mumbai

In a recent development, two Turkish men have been arrested in Mumbai in connection to the numerous ATM hacks in Guwahati.

The two Turkish hackers identified as Abdul Abdul Khalek and Erki Yura has been nabbed by Crime Branch team which had gone to Mumbai from Guwahati. Both of them were staying at a hotel in Colaba, Mumbai.

Reportedly, the Crime branch had been looking out for them, based on CCTV visuals.

It may be stated that the duo were involved in hacking more than 60 ATMs in Assam by installing hidden cameras and scanner. The hacks came to light when 25 complaints were lodged in Paltan Bazar within 2 days.
